NAGA Battle at the Beach 2016 is a wrap!! And I can not possibly put into words how proud I am of each and every competitor. The grind leading up to game day, the struggle of making weight, the self doubt and self defeat during our long strenuous competition team training sessions.
The highs and lows of battle. The thrill of wiping out your entire division and taking gold, the mental fortitude required after losing a match miserably and hearing the ref as you walk away, “don’t go anywhere, you have to fight again in 5 minutes.” I’ve personally watched these men and women break down mentally and physically on the Razors Edge MMA mats only to return with with a fire in their eyes similar to a wolf focused on its prey. Born again; hardcore and unrelenting. From my smallest 98 pound female competitor to my largest 230 pound male competitor, the fire is no different.

Big CONGRATULATIONS to all Razors Edge MMA competitors and a huge THANK YOU to my entire coaching staff and everyone that came out to support their teammates. It was an action packed day of nonstop back to back matches. With close to 20 competitors I don’t think there was a single minute a Razors Edge MMA representative wasn’t on the mats or at the medal stand. Every one did a phenomenal job, both competitors and support team alike. I look forward to getting back on the mats with the team and focusing on the next. Thank you everyone!
