Knees are a huge part of Muay Thai, and there is nothing like seeing a beautiful flying knee landed on your opponents chin! Key points to remember:

1. The mechanics of the flying knee are exactly the same as the basic straight knee.

2. You are pushing off of your support leg in order to get airborne.

3. The same side arm that you are kneeing with will swing downward as the opposite side arm will come across in front of your face for protection.

4. Keep the toes of the kneeing leg pointed and push your hips forward.

Enjoy!
